Please see below the procedure for entry and care for candidates of Winway College of Business & Technology
All candidates are required to wear a mask upon entry to the building and follow the one-way system for access and egress
Use the hand sanitser provided before entering the lift or using the stairs
Candidates are asked if they have any symptoms of COVID 19
Each candidate will be asked to produce their ID
Candidates are directed towards the stairs (in preference) and if they prefer, they may use the lift but only following the guidelines of ‘one person per lift’. The invigilators register each candidate on each floor to avoid candidates getting lost, risking cross contamination and to minimise contact with other building users/tenants and to keep to designated areas.
The candidates are invited to use the washrooms, maximum 2 people at any one time, and are advised to use hand sanitiser before and after use.
The candidates are invited to store their belongings in a locker, other than one form of ID which they keep with them. The locker room will be deep cleaned prior to and after use before every exam. The candidates are directed to the exam room by the invigilator(s) who will open the doors in the socially distanced corridors and shared areas.
Each candidate will be given a number and a designated desk where they will sit and complete the exam under timed conditions.
Once finished, candidates are requested to leave, in a timed exercise, one by one, following socially distanced guidelines to ensure no crowding when leaving and returning to the locker room then exiting the building by stairs or lift.
The candidates are requested to wear their masks to exit the building from the point of leaving the exam room, until outside the building

Each candidate will be required to have a temperature check upon entering the building.
The building has a socially distanced ‘one way’ system when entering and exiting the building.
There are signs which request for the stairways to be used in a socially distanced manner and for the lifts to be used one by one.
Hand sanitisers stations are available on the ground floor to use prior to using the lift.
Invigilators open and close the doors to prevent contact by the candidates.
Posters in every lift to advise handwashing at regular intervals and upon arrival.
Hand sanitisers available in every washroom, on every floor of the building.
Desks are safely distanced from other candidates by screens / partitions.
Door handles, push plates and any contact areas are all deep cleaned and sanitised before and after each exam.
Prior to every exam, the desks, equipment – computer, mouse, cables, keyboard, chairs, lockers and locker keys and entry doors are all deep cleaned with sanitisers and anti-bacterial wipes.
Doorways are all open to ensure minimal contact by the candidates.
Building management carry out regular compliance testing such as air quality on a daily basis.
COVID 19 guidelines and procedures are displayed at every point from the entrance on the ground floor, lobby, lifts, floor lobbies, washrooms, corridors, doorways, entrances, and points of exit – please see attachment.

Test takers accompany (friends or neighbours) are not encouraged to sit in the lobby or reception area.
You must arrive at least 15 minutes before your exam/test and sign in at the exam/test center reception (5th Floor).
You must read the ‘Exam/Test Taker Rules Agreement’ which will be provided to you when you arrive at the exam/test centre. The Exam/Test Administrator will check your identification and take your palm vein scan and signature.
Please note the electronic signature you provide is legal acceptance of the rules you have read.
You must provide valid identification as a reference.
The Exam/Test Administrator will explain the exam/test centre rules and regulations.
Personal belongings must be stored in the secure lockers provided. You cannot access the lockers until your exam/test has been completed.
Any person(s) who accompany the exam/test taker, are not encouraged to sit in the lobby or reception area.
If you arrive more than 30 minutes after the start time of your exam/test, you will not be permitted to take the exam/test.
If you encounter any issues during the exam/test, you must raise them with an Exam/Test Centre Administrator on the day of the exam/test.
You must bring your identification on exam/test day. If the name on your ID does not match your booking or you fail to provide your passport or acceptable identification as stated in the ID policy, you will not be permitted to sit the exam\test.
Before entering the exam/test room, you will be asked to read and sign the Academic Exam/Test Taker Rules Agreement which includes the requirement to keep information confidential.
Personal belongings are not allowed in the exam/test room.
This includes, but it is not limited to the following: Cell/mobile phones, hand-held computers/personal digital assistants (PDAs) or other electronic devices must be switched off before storing in a locker.

The test center will provide you with a locker for your personal items.
The desk space established for each workstation should measure approximately six feet (2 meters) wide. Only one workstation should be placed on each six feet (2 meter) of space.
Separate candidates within the exam delivery room. Separate exam delivery workstations with at least six feet (2 meters) of empty space on all sides or use privacy partitions.
Permanent partitions kept for least 1.5m (5’) in height from the ground up and extend outward from the wall at a 90-degree angle.
As long as the height measured from the floor is at least 1.5m (5’).

Starting your Exam/Test
Once it is time to start your exam/test, the Exam/Test Administrator will take you into the exam/test room and assign you a computer with headphones and built-in microphone.
You will also be provided with a paper and pen if it is permissible for that exam/test. You must not take any notes until your exam/test has started.
The Exam/Test Administrator will sign you into the computer and you will be presented with an on-screen nondisclosure reminder.
The screen will guide you through an equipment check to make sure your headphones and microphone are working correctly. Your exam/test will then begin. If there are any issues, you must immediately raise your hand and advise the Exam/Test Administrator.
Breaks
If you exceed the allotted break time, the extra time will be deducted from the remaining part of the test. Time will not be added to your test time if you do not take the break.
You are not permitted to leave the building during breaks, however, you are permitted to use the restrooms located within the building.

Unplanned breaks are permitted but discouraged.
To request an unplanned break, raise your hand to get the Exam/Test Administrator’s attention. The Exam/Test Administrator will set your exam/testing workstation to the break mode. The exam/test clock will not stop while you are away. The time is deducted from your overall exam/test time.
You must leave the exam/testing room for all breaks. The Exam/Test Administrator will resume the exam/test for you when you return.
After you finish the exam/test, you must raise your hand to get the attention of the Exam/Test Administrator. The Exam/Test Administrator will come to your workstation and ensure your exam/test has ended properly.
You will be escorted out of the exam/test room and your identification will be checked electronically when you leave the exam/testing room.
You will be provided with printed confirmation that you completed the exam/test. You will receive this after returning the erasable noteboard booklet and other materials to the exam/test center staff. Do not leave these items at your exam/testing workstation.
Once this is complete, you can take all your personal belongings from the locker room and are able to leave.
